Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy evaluates the physical, social, mental and emotional aspects of a person’s life and how its affects their daily activities, leisure activities and work.  After a full assessment, the occupational therapist creates an intervention plan that targets different objectives.

Occupational therapy treatments include functional exercises, task planning, pain management, and education on injury prevention, posture and energy conservation.

Occupational therapists can work with patients of all ages whose autonomy is affect by physical or mental barriers.

They are also able to help with workspace assessments, driver’s assessments and adapted transportation and parking permit applications.
